TKO Group Holdings is the US sports-entertainment company formed from the merger of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The business consists of live-event promotion, pay-per-view and streaming content rights (including major media deals with Netflix, ESPN+, and NBC/Peacock), licensing and consumer products, and venue-based gate revenue. Revenue streams include media rights fees, pay-per-view buy-rates, sponsorships, live-event ticket sales, and licensing. The qualitative-screen analysis is complex. Mixed martial arts (UFC) and professional wrestling (WWE) are combat sports with violence as a core part of the entertainment product. Sharia scholars differ on combat sports — some permit martial arts practiced for training, self-defense, or legitimate competition, while others prohibit entertainment built around staged or real physical harm. WWE's scripted violence and entertainment-product positioning raise additional concerns.
